Carroll Lutheran Village Receives Major Gift
Carroll Lutheran Village has received a major gift of nearly $114,000 given by an anonymous donor. The gift will be used to support key strategic objectives including the reinvention of the Health Care Center, enhancing technology and community outreach, and to advance the philanthropic mission of the organization.
One half of the gift, approximately $67,000, will be applied to the following strategic projects:
- The reinvention of the Health Care Center
- The development of expanded wellness outreach initiatives in the greater community
- Improved technology to support Carroll Lutheran Village’s commitment to lifelong learning and professional development
- A dedicated space for care giving staff as part of the new smoke- and tobacco-free workplace initiative
The remaining half, approximately $67,000, will be placed in the Ministry of Caring Endowment. Earnings from this gift will help to perpetually support care for residents and strengthen the organization’s mission of service.
Carroll Lutheran Village is an accredited continuing care retirement community in Westminster that includes 398 homes and apartments, 50 assisted living suites in the Diven House and 103 skilled nursing beds in the Health Care Center.
