Maryland Business Organization Honors Delegate Ready
Annapolis – Last night, Delegate Justin Ready (R-Carroll) was honored by the Maryland Business for Responsive Government (MBRG) a statewide non-profit and nonpartisan business group for his consistently high Roll Call score. Roll Call is MBRG’s scorecard for legislators voting record on business issues.
Delegate Ready is committed to making Maryland business friendly and open for private sector job creation again. “I am proud to have stood strong for hard-working entrepreneurs and employees,” said Ready, who represents Carroll County. “I will continue to support pro-business legislation and oppose bills that kill job growth.”
Roll Call has been published by MBRG since 1987. Votes selected to appear in Roll Call are chosen by an independent bi-partisan board after each Session’s adjournment.
“These were two very tough years for business and business issues in Annapolis. Tax and regulatory issues pervaded both the special and regular sessions in 2012 and historic tax increases seemed to be the legacy, but Delegate Ready stood strong and stood for job creation, less taxes, and less regulation,” said MBRG President Kim Burns.
Improving the lives of Marylanders through a healthy, competitive economic development climate benefits everybody,” Burns concluded.
