NoWorriesIT Recycles Computers to Benefit 'Neighbors in Need'

NoWorriesIT, a Westminster-based technology company, is collecting non-restorable computer towers, laptops, keyboards, or cables (no monitors or printers, please), for their fall Recycling Computers for Charity Drive.  According to company president Don McCombie, “We collect non-restorable computers throughout the year, which we sanitize (remove all data) and take to the recycling center for a cash rebate.” NoWorriesIT then matches the cash rebate and donates the total amount to one of two local charities.  The 2012 fall charity is Neighbors in Need, a program of the Human Services Program of Carroll County.

NoWorriesIT asks any individual or business who would like to donate to the fall drive, to drop off equipment at the NoWorriesIT office in the Airport Business Park at 57 Aileron Court, Suite 14 before October 19, 2012. Drop off days are Thursdays and Fridays between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm. “It’s a win-win,” says McCombie. “You will be keeping equipment out of the landfill as well as helping a local non-profit.”
