St. John School students host a SUPER “Souper” Bowl
When the Baltimore Ravens won the AFC Championship, student members of the St. John Catholic School Student Council wanted to find a way to celebrate the Ravens’ success. The students came up with the idea of hosting a "Souper Bowl" - collecting cans of soups for the less fortunate and cheering on the Ravens for the upcoming Super Bowl. Each classroom was encouraged to collect a minimum of 47 cans in honor of Super Bowl XLIX. Much like the Raven’s victory, the students collected a whopping 616 cans of soup! Canned soup was presented to the local St. Vincent DePaul Society for distribution to the Westminster community.

St. John Catholic School is Carroll County's only Catholic School serving preschool through Grade 8.
