The Nativity comes alive at St. John School

St. John School students recently celebrated the Holiday with a traditional Christmas Pageant and Nativity on Tuesday, December 18th, 2012.

Students in first, third and fifth grades entertained a capacity crowd with a live nativity scene accompanied by traditional and contemporary music.  Music teacher Mrs. Linda Woods produced and directed the performance, which included carols, recorder ensembles, and readings by students.  Several parents and students from the middle school helped with costumes and sets.

The annual performance of the Christmas Pageant always features something new to compliment long standing traditions.  This year, the performance included a student art display coordinated by Art teacher Mrs. Clare Hoerl, and showcased pieces in ceramic, water color, and silhouette.

St. John Catholic School is a Westminster based private school for grades Pre-K through Grade 8.

St John is a wonderful school and the Nativity and pagent performed by the students on the true meaning of Christmas was such a beautiful sight. Merry Christmas to all and hope the spirit shown on stage this night continues past the holiday season.
