UTZ Real Estate hosted an open house fundraiser for the Carroll County Habitat for Humanity. UTZ does a monthly volunteer day each month, and we choose to help Habitat for Humanity in January. Bryan Lybrun, the Executive Director of the Carroll County Habitat for Humanity was a pleasure to work with. Together with Connie Jantz, the owner of the building, we made a great team! Connie's love for the building and it's historic character made the project a huge success! With the aid of the Habitat ReStore in Frederick, the home was brought back to it's historic charm with period fixtures. The ReStore enabled Connie to restore the home in the way she had desired, while maintaining a manageable budget. The ReStore is a great place to drop off donations or items that are leftover/unused on the job site. UTZ Real Estate, Bryan Lyburn, and Connie Jantz would like to personally thank everyone that made this event a success! We raised $1200 in a matter of two hours and the turn out was unbelievable!
