Mitt Romney and Barack Obama– The presidential candidates make this one easy for those last-minute Halloween costume people. At many of Romney's campaign stops he wears jeans, a brown belt, loafers and a white shirt (occasionally with a blazer). Make sure you don’t forget the greying sideburns and coiffed black hair, one of Romney's more defining physical characteristics. President Obama also tends to wear jeans on his campaign stops, frequently with a white button down shirt and loafers. If you're going to dress as Obama, get something to make sure others know, such as one of those "O" bumber stickers.

The Avengers – The smash-hit of the summer raked in money at the box office, and surely its likeable superheroes make great costumes, both for comic book fans and movie buffs. Choose from Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow, Thor, or the lesser-known Hawkeye.
PSY – You too could be the South Korean rapper behind YouTube’s greatest sensation ever—Gangnam Style. Thanks to PSY’s bountiful fashion sense in the video, there’s plenty of costumes to choose from. You could go with the blue jacket, white shirt, black bowtie, black pants and Wayfarers that he wears in multiple scenes, or perhaps the all black suit, black vest and untied white bow tie. There’s a lot to work with here, just make sure to do the dance frequently.
Katniss Everdeen – grab your bow and become the greatest female heroine of the year, the resourceful, energetic Katniss Everdeen of The Hunger Games. Besides the bow, which is a necessity for this costume, additional props include a quiver of arrows, brown hair, a black rain jacket and brown pants.
The Baltimore ‘Streaker’ – He’s a bit of a local legend. Mark Harvey, of Severn, first burst onto the scene running around the outfield of Camden Yards in April wearing Batman underwear and a cape. He then resurfaced at the Baltimore Ravens game against the Patriots running around the field at M&T Bank Stadium during the third quarter. This costume requires a cape, Batman underwear and some colorful dance moves.

It’s that time of year again, Halloween, where we go out searching for the perfect costume to make our friends laugh or scream.

Some of the best costumes are accurate depictions of the pop culture stars of the moment—that crazy reality star, the YouTube sensation or the most viral internet meme.

In the spirit of Halloween, we’ve gathered 10 of the biggest pop culture stars of 2012 (in no particular order) so you can begin to create your costume.
