Patch readers said J Cafe is the best breakfast spot in Westminster.
In our inaugural "Best of Patch" contest, 150 voters cast their ballots for the best breakfast spot in Westminster.
And the winner is: J Cafe.
Receiving 57 votes in the contest, the casual cafe located at Main Street and Center Street offers breakfast and lunch Tuesday through Sunday.
One commentor said that J Cafe is "fast, delicious and has a great environment".
According to their Facebook page, J Cafe's focus is "fresh, seasonal ingredients".
Birdie's Cafe received 18 votes and Baugher's got 17 votes. Locally owned small businesses beat out the chains this time around.
In the Eldersburg Patch, the best breakfast choice was ZiPani.
Next week, Patch is looking for the "Best Gym". The voting begins at 9 a.m. on Monday.
The winner was chosen by Patch based on poll results, comments, listing reviews and Facebook comments.

Very nice place. Clean, nice atmosphere, good food. It has become one of my favorite places.
