Get to Know Local Artists in Annual Studio Tour

The fifth annual Artists Studio Tour will take place this weekend, Dec. 3-4, in Westminster.

Twelve art studios around Carroll County will be featured with more than 30 artists exhibiting and selling arts and crafts this weekend in the fifth annual Carroll County Artists Studio Tour.

This is a once a year chance to visit local studios and interact directly with the artists. The artists organize and plan this event themselves.

  • Anime and Manga artist Kelsey Wales; basket makers Joyce Schaum and Sharon Schaeffer;

  • Textile artist Gwen Handler;

Westminster Galleries Eclecticity (artist Shawn Lockhart), Offtrack Art and Gizmos Art will feature a large group of artists as well.

The tour and refreshments are free. The tour will run from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 3-4. For more information and a map go to ccartists.com.
