The 6th Annual Business Appreciation Week in Carroll County will celebrate the business community.
Carroll County Economic Development and Carroll County Chamber of Commerce will join together for the 6th Annual Business Appreciation Week from Oct. 1 through 5.
The 6th Annual Business Appreciation Week in Carroll County aims to celebrate the business community in Carroll County as well as to find out what business owners need to be successful according to a county government news release.
According to Economic Development, ambassador teams will visit companies throughout Carroll County to express appreciation for their choice of Carroll County as a business location and to listen to any business concerns.
“Business Appreciation Week is just one way that we can demonstrate our appreciation to the business community," said Economic Development Administrator Jon Weetman in a statement. "We learn about business support needs and then we develop programs and services to address the identified needs. Our sincere appreciation and responsive actions help to maintain a positive business climate.”

An "appreciation" event? Sounds nice. Opening a business in Carroll County was less than a pleasant experience for me as a small business owner with the outrageous demands placed on us during construction...is it possible to get "appreciated" without having to spend more money by joining something for a fee? That's basically the only way I see businesses promoted around here....

Be sure you hit all those fast food restaurants! That seems to be the only economic development going on around here for the past several years.
