Carroll County government's phone service has been restored as of 4 p.m. Monday.

Carroll County Government is currently experiencing a system-wide telephone outage, according to a news release. 

The entire telephone system serving county government is currently out of service.  A government representative said they have contacted their service provider and are working to restore service. There is no estimate as to when phone service will be restored. 

County Government is open, according to the release.  Anyone interested in contacting the county may still do so by either visiting the offices at 225 North Center St., or sending an email. Email addresses for different county departments can be found on each department’s webpage.
