Here is a list of closings for Wednesday, March 6.

• Carroll County Public Schools are closed including Central Office, according to a CCPS phone alert. 
• McDaniel College closed beginning at midnight and will remain closed through 11 p.m. Wednesday. All undergraduate and graduate classes are cancelled according to a school official. Wednesday evening's performance of "The Sleep of Reason" is also cancelled.
• The City of Westminster administration offices are closed including Parks and Recreation.
• Carroll Hospital Center has cancelled all community programs and support groups for Wednesday March 6. The knee and hip screening on Thursday March 7 is cancelled, and the Sleep Awareness Day celebration has been postponed until May 1 according to WTTR Radio. 
• Carroll Area Transit System (CATS) is closed.
• Carroll County government offices are closed. 
• Carroll Community College and the Mount Airy Center are closed.
