The Carroll County Student Government Association is currently accepting applications from ninth and tenth grade high school students to serve as the Student-Representative-Elect on the Board of Education of Carroll County for the 2012 - 2013 school year. 

The student elected by the Carroll County SGA will serve a two year term. Throughout the first year the Student Representative-Elect will shadow the current Student Representative to learn the responsibilities of the position.

The Student Representative attends all Board of Education meetings and represents the student viewpoint on educational issues.
