The public is invited and encouraged to attend. Brief presentations will be made by each organization and interested citizens will be provided with an opportunity to comments.

Questions should be submitted in writing and may be submitted in advance via email to commissioners@ccg.carr.org.

According to the news release, the Commissioners want to hear from all of the invited parties in order to deliver "well researched and well thought-out comments on the Plan Maryland concept, reflecting the concerns and best interest of Carroll County" to the Office of the Governor .

The forum will be held at Carroll Community College, Building K, Room 100 from 6:30 to 9:00pm.

I don't understand why the commissioners insist on having their own forum about Plan Maryland when they didn't care about it when the planners from Plan Maryland had their own forum. Why do these commissioners feel like they must be running the show always. I just don't get it! They are a PART of the process not THE process.

@WENDY: I ASSUME YOUR ARE A CARROLL COUNTIAN (ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT SOUND LIKE YOU ARE PRO-AG MORE LIKE CITY SOUNDING FOLK). COUNT YOURSELF LUCKY THAT YOUR ELECTED BODY "IS" THE PROCESS THAT REPRESENTS THEN VOTERS AND NOT PART OF THE PROCESS LIKE THE IDIOTS IN BALTIMORE COUNTY WHO ARE SUBSERVIANT TO THEIR POLITCAL CONNECTIONS INSTEAD OF THE PEOPLE. YOUR GUYS ARE CORRECT-UPHOLD THE CONSTITUTION AND THE HELL WITH WHAT THE STATE OF MARYLAND THINKS WHICH IS THE OPPOSITE.

I disagree. I believe in keeping Carroll County beautiful and having it there for my grandchildren and great grandchildren. I want them to be able to enjoy rolling hills, parks, farms, historical sites, etc. I believe the governor also wants that. I don't believe these commissioners care at all about us. It's all about their agenda and what looks good for them. They even have the " tea party" group screaming demands like crazy people. I know they aren't. I am sure they are intelligent calm individuals who just got caught up in the moment. It saddens me to see my wonderful county being the laughing joke of the state.
