Congressman Harris to Visit Carroll Republican Headquarters Saturday

Congressman Andy Harris will visit Carroll County and encourage citizens to vote early and be informed about issues.

Congressman Andy Harris will be holding an informal style meet-and-greet and early voting rally at the Carroll County Republican Headquarters, 437 Baltimore Blvd, this Saturday from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.

“Getting out of Washington DC and hearing directly from residents in my district is the best way to serve my district.  I like to keep my focus on what is happening in Maryland,” Harris said in a statement.

In a statement Harris encouraged voters to take advantage of early voting initiatives and for voters to familiarize themselves with ballot questions so that they are informed when going to the polls.

Early voting was a new process introduced to the state in the 2010 elections.  The period runs from Oct. 27 through Nov. 1.  Any eligible voter can vote during this period.  Early voting centers for each county can be found at the Maryland State Board of Elections Website on the Early Voting page (http://www.elections.state.md.us/voting/early_voting.html).

Isn't Harris the hypoxcrite Congressman who said "where is my government health insurance" which is subsidized by taxpayers when he was elected. I believe he also voted against the Affordable Care Act.
