Cows Get Free Chicken on Friday the 13th
Customers dressed up in cow costumes will get free food at Chick-fil-A on Friday, July 13.
You're in trouble on July 13 if you're freaked out by cows.
Chick-fil-A will be celebrating its annual Cow Appreciation Day on Friday, July 13 by offering a free meal to any customer who visits one of the restaurants fully dressed as a cow.
Yes, fully dressed as a cow. So you can guess where your local Patch editor will be hanging out on July 13. Westminster has two Chick-fil-A locations: one at TownMall and one at 144 Englar Rd (on Rt. 140).
According to a news release, customers dressed “head to hoof” in cow attire will be rewarded with a free Chick-fil-A Meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner), which includes an entrée of choice, a side item and a soda.
But don't worry, you can do less and still get free food. For those “too chicken” to wear full cow costumes, Chick-fil-A will award a complimentary entrée to customers partially dressed in cow attire, such as a cow-spotted scarf, purse, hat or other accessory.
And Chick-fil-A wants to make it even more fun by documenting the occasion. They will have a photo contest too. The best cow-dressed customers can submit a photo in one of three categories: Best Calf/Calves, Best Cow, and Best Herd. Prizes include Chick-fil-A Cow beach towels, gift cards, and catered parties. Customers can upload photos for the contest from July 13-31.
“If you’re willing to dress up like a cow for a free meal, you’re obviously a loyal and even raving Chick-fil-A fan," said Steve Robinson, Chick-fil-A's chief marketing officer.
