Dense Fog Advisory Until Tuesday Morning

The National Weather Service has issued the following statement.

A dense fog advisory is in effect for parts of Maryland, including Howard and Carroll counties, until 6 a.m. Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

This means visibility can be around a quarter mile or less at times.

Motorists should anticipate increased travel times, according to weather officials.

All drivers should reduce their speed, leave plenty of distance ahead of them and use their low-beam headlights, the weather statement said.
