Commercial businesses are charged $20 per ton for acceptable yard trimmings. Acceptable yard trimmings include: grass, leaves, shrub and tree trimmings up to 8’ in length and 4” in diameter. Accepted materials are mulched and made available to County residents at no charge.
Mulch is available year-round at the Northern Landfill. Come prepared to self-load and wear appropriate clothing. The mulch is a natural wood product and may contain allergens. The mulch is not recommended for use around shallow rooted plants, flower or vegetable gardens.
