Merriweather's 2013 Sweetlife Festival Lineup

Bands this year will include Phoenix, Passion Pit, Kendrick Lamar, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Gary Clark Jr.

The Sweetlife Festival is coming up at Merriweather Post Pavilion on May 11.

Broken up into two stages, the bands are mostly indie or alternative rockers, but the lineup also includes rapper Kendrick Lamar and electronic violinist Lindsey Stirling.

Main Stage:

Phoenix, Passion Pit, Kendrick Lamar, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Gary Clark Jr., Solange, Lindsey Stirling

Treehouse Stage:

Holy Ghost!, Youth Lagoon, Haerts, Robert Delong, MsMr, Twenty|One|Pilots

Ticket prices are $75 for lawn seats, pavilion tickets are $95 and VIP tickets go for $150. Tickets are available on Ticketfly.

Last year, the festival featured Avicii, Kid Cudi and the Shins. In a review of last year's concert, a Baltimore Sun music critic said of the festival, "If the Sweetlife Festival were an actual sweet, I'd vote for a lemon bar: smooth, luscious, with only a few chunks of sour, yet on the whole thoroughly enjoyable."

Vogue has named the festival one of the top music festivals in the country for 2013.

The festival is sponsored by Sweetgreen, a chain of salad bowl restaurants started in 2007 by D.C. area college students. Because of the Sweetgreen connection, the festival offers salads, wraps, bowls and yogurt among other healthy food items and focuses on sustainability.
