The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter weather advisory for Carroll County Friday.
According to the forecast discussion, we can expect light sleet, freezing rain and freezing drizzle. This may make the roads particularly dangerous, according to NWS, coating them with a layer of ice.
The precipitation will likely begin around 6 p.m. and may taper off later in the afternoon before picking up at night.
NWS is predicting not much accumulation besides a coating of sleet.
Temperatures are expected to hover in the low-30s Friday afternoon and night.
Thanks. We'll email you the next time we update this story.
