NWS: Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Carroll County

Be prepared for winter weather, and possibly messy roads, Tuesday morning.

A winter weather advisory has been issued for Carroll County from 1 a.m. until noon on Tuesday.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) Carroll County could see accumulations of one to two inches, mainly along the Mason Dixon line Tuesday morning.

A mix of rain and snow is expected to develop between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m., changing to all snow after 3 a.m. and continuing through late morning according to the NWS.

We will see temperatures in the lower 30s overnight and the upper 30s during the day Tuesday.

The NWS warns that a slushy accumulation could form on roads. Drivers could also face snow covered roads and limited visibility at times.
