Michael Grant McVerry, 17, of Westminster, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, from injuries sustained in a car accident.

Born on July 3, 1995 in Westminster, he was the son of James K. and Denise DiMeolo McVerry.

He was a senior at Westminster High School. He also worked at Paradiso Restaurant. He played baseball in Finksburg, ran high school varsity cross country and tennis, swam at the YMCA, and enjoyed being with his friends and brothers, playing video games, and time with his dogs.

Surviving in addition to his parents are brothers Mitchell, William, and Timothy McVerry, all of Westminster; grandparents Donald and Marlene Kirby of Augusta, GA; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by grandparents Fred and Cyril DiMeolo.
