Photos: College Students Clean Up Westminster

Students from Carroll Community College and McDaniel College participated in clean up projects around Westminster this weekend.

 

Approximately 130 students from McDaniel College and Carroll Community College teamed up for the third annual Westminster Clean Up this weekend.

The students volunteered with nonprofit organizations including the Boys & Girls Club, Caring Carroll, Shepherd's Staff, and Westminster Library, as well as participated in improvement projects at Dutterer Park, King Park and Belle Grove Square, among others.

The students who came to the Westminster Library were wonderful! They picked up trash in our park, and cleaned toys and books. They were a great help and their work was very much appreciated! Thank you to everyone involved in the project!
