Police Await Autopsy Results for Body Found in Finksburg Tuesday

The body of Justin Ogle of Elkridge was found by a jogger Tuesday morning.

Police investigators are waiting for autopsy results to determine the cause of death of a man who was found on the side of the road in Finksburg Tuesday.

Just after 7 a.m. Tuesday, a jogger discovered the body of a man on the side of Patapsco Road in Finksburg. Police later identified the man as 20-year-old Justin Ogle of Elkridge.

According to State Police representative Greg Shipley, Ogle was hanging out with friends in the Westminster area Monday night. Shipley said police homicide investigators interviewed the friends, who they believe to be the last people who saw Ogle alive.

Justin Ogle's Facebook page says he is from Westminster. State police said at the time of his death, he was an Elkridge resident. Ogle's Facebook page says he graduated from Long Reach High School in 2010.

"We are awaiting autopsy results to provide us with the manner of death, to get a confirmation of what may have happened," Shipley said.

Upon receiving that information, Shipley said police would consult with the State's Attorney to discuss charges if that is relevant.

Nothing is being ruled out at this time, Shipley said. Police are continuing to investigate.

He overdosed that night and the people that gave him a ride were scared so they dumped his body. They were near a hospital, so Justin had a chance to live. He was with some girl robin (driver) and a male friend Matt.

This kind of discussion is inappropriate for a family that is grieving the loss of a son and brother.

Thank you Verna, but it's not really. Justin was my nephew and if anything good can come out of this, it is to get the word out to young people that the police do not get involved at the hospital, for this very reason. They were only a few miles from Carroll County General Hospital. If my nephew was still alive when these two kids left him there, then they have a heavy load on their consciences. And the same goes for enabling and encouraging him to drown his grief in drugs on the night of what would have been his mother's birthday. He was still in mourning for her death (my sister) two years ago.

its my understanding that the other kids involved were not doing drugs with him...this whole thing is just outright terrible..those kids must have been scared to death...i know i would have been...i heard they did drug test when with investigators and they were clean..so i dont think there was any encouraging here...and its also my understanding that the girl didnt even know this kid

The true needs to be told, whether here or there. If it is easier for someone to post here... then do it.. and his family or uncle can notify police of what was said so it can be investigated. RIP Justin. Go be with your mama and be your father's angel.

Forgive me if this is a double post, but I would like to ask Carroll where he received his information, as our understanding is that Justin knew the girl for at least a year. If you would, or anyone else with any information, would be so kind as to e-mail me in confidence at steveoka@yahoo.ca, I would be very grateful. This family is devastated more than you can know and we need the truth. Thank you.

Whom ever was with Justin when the event occured that night had a civic and moral duty to seek help, but they choose to leave Justin alongside the road as though that was the best they could do for him. The Reese Firehouse on RT 140 and Reese Rd is only 2 minutes from the site he was left and the road Justin was left on leades directlt to that firehouse. I hope the Maryland State Police are looking into criminal charges agains those that participated in pronouncing Justin dead and then choose to leave him in a field along side a remote road as though his life had no value. His life has value and anyone having knowledge of this nights events needs to come foreward with any information. You'll sleep better.

why are they drug testing other kids, as suspects,,,,hello someone is in the cover up and answers need to come out. I do believe the father has a good idea email him and see where you may get. As with you know and your guilty for throwing a body of someone onthe road, when if your from carroll county don't be stupid you know dam well where a hospital or fire dept is, and you were right there. Wake up and come forward who ever you are if a boy is dead then you deserve to sit in jail and hope you have a good laywer.
