Seven 'Carroll Counts' Projects Chosen

The Community Foundation of Carroll County has announced the seven nonprofit projects that will benefit from a creative community giving campaign.

The Community Foundation of Carroll County recently announced the seven non-profit projects that are a part of their inaugural Carroll Counts campaign.

Carroll Counts is an innovative capital campaign concept. It is a project of the Community Foundation of Carroll County and all proceeds will benefit the Community Foundation and seven selected community projects.

When someone donates to the Carroll Counts campaign through the website (www.carrollcounts.org), they will be prompted to vote on a project. Each dollar donated is equivalent to one vote. Voting begins May 1.

Each of the projects below will receive a portion of funds raised through Carroll Counts capital campaign based on the percentage of votes cast, up to the total amount requested by the participating organization. A portion of funds also goes to support the Community Foundation -- an organization that supports many of the non-profits in Carroll County.
