Sheriff: Thieves Sought in Westminster Diamond, Sunglasses Thefts

Officials released photos of the suspects Friday.

 

Carroll County Sheriff’s officials are asking the public’s help in identifying the three people deputies said are suspects in jewelry and sunglasses theft incidents in Westminster.

The three people are suspected of being involved in the theft of a 2 karat white gold diamond ring worth $6,500 from the Westminster Antique Mall, 433 Hahn Road, according to a release.

Sheriff’s officials described the suspects as:

  • Black male, approximately 30-40 years old, 6’3” tall, weighing 220 lbs.
  • Black male, approximately 50-60 years old, 5’8” tall, weighing 200 lbs.
  • Black female, approximately 30-40 years old, 5’5” tall, weighing 180 lbs.

Officials said the same three people are also suspects in a theft at Carroll Eye Care, located at 5 Carroll Plaza, Westminster. In that case, officials said $1,459.14 worth of sunglasses were stolen from the store.
