John and Ben Yingling will be cheering on the Baltimore Ravens from the 50-yard line at the Super Bowl.
John Yingling of Crawford-Yingling Insurance & Risk Management has been to the big game before. He saw the San Francisco 49ers take on the Miami Dolphins in Super Bowl XIX in Palo Alto, California.
But this time he said it will be even better because he is going to the Super Bowl with his son, Ben, who also works at Crawford-Yingling Insurance & Risk Management.
"It means a lot to go with Ben," John said. "He was one when I went to my first Super Bowl, he’s 28 now and it’s just great bonding for a father and son to take a trip like this."
John added that that there is a lot of wow packed into this particular Super Bowl.
"It’s going to be even more spectacular because it’s our hometown team, we get to see Harbaugh versus Harbaugh, Ray Lewis is retiring -- all the ingredients are there for a great experience," John said. "We've just gotta be there to see these things."
Ben said that he had looked into attending the Super Bowl before the Ravens took on the Denver Broncos and with about three minutes left in that game, he decided to make it happen.
The father-son duo will leave Friday. Ben said they intend to take in as much of New Orleans and Super Bowl festivities as they can.
"I am looking forward to experiencing the most popular sporting event in the world," Ben said.
