All Voting Locations in Maryland will be open from 7am - 8pm on Election Day

Tuesday, November 6th 2012


Congressional District 1 consists of the following parts of Carroll County:
Election Districts 1, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 10 and Election District 2, Precinct 2.

The Polling Places are:

Northwest Middle School

Charles Carroll Elementary School

Sandymount Elementary School

Faith Family Church

Mechanicsville Elementary School Gym

Mechanicsville Elementary School Cafeteria

Manchester Valley High School

North Carroll Middle School

Hampstead Elementary School

North Carroll High School

Spring Garden Elementary School

Elmer Wolfe Elementary School Gym 1 (Middleburg)

Runnymede Elementary School



Congressional District 8 consists of the following parts of Carroll County:
Election Districts 5, 7, 9, and 11 through 14 and Election District 2, Precinct 1.

The Polling Places are:

Liberty High School    

Westminster Elementary School

Oklahoma Road Middle School  

Robert Moton Elementary School

Carrolltowne Elementary School     

Winfield Elementary School (Gym)

Local government- Five Commissioner districts
State Government - Three Legislative Sub Districts (4B, 5A and B9)

On a Federal level, the State of Maryland is divided into eight Congressional Districts. This determines the number of members to the U.S. House of Representatives from Maryland. Carroll County is divided into Congressional Districts one and eight.
