care to expand on that?

He prompted the use of Eminent Domain to violate private property owners rights costing HampsteadRead Moreta xpayers over half a million in wasted legal fees (only a lawyer would understand this logic I suppose), led the charge in expressing the dire need of the massive Manchester Valley HS which currently sits at only 60% capacity causing a large overage of school space that is only getting worse. The list could go on but not many people follow this stuff to make a difference.

I actually feel energized that Frazier got the boot. Perhaps there is sanity in the electorateRead Moreafter all.

It seems there SHOULD be. After all, it's known as the Westminster Patch, right?

Why isn't an editor replying to this ?

Carroll Hospital Center has a habit of making wild claims about their quality of care. That claimRead Moreof "Top 10%..." is dubious at best. Given that Sinai and Johns Hopkins are 40 minutes away I guess that have to resort to stretching the truth a bit.

Hahahahahaha......she evidently got the boot!!! Patch is on a slow drip IV death.....24 hourRead Morehospice care has been ordered.....couldn't happen to a nicer pretend editor!

Why Art, do you think you are entitle to a refund? I love how people get all out of shape overRead MoreFREE news sites.

Yet another who chooses anonymity. Jesus was 33 when he was crucified, BTW. Low informationRead Morevoter. Yes, Josie, I'd like to know what's going on, too.

I know that there are a lot of readers that that would like to know more on this.

I don't get it, but it sure doesn't seem right. I live just on the outskirts, off of Bond, not inRead MoreW est. City. I don't pay West. City taxes, but my neighborhood is hooked up to West. City water/sewer. I have to pay for that and it's not cheap. We don't have trash pickup either, but again, we don't pay West. City taxes. I pay for my own trash pickup from a private hauler. I don't know where you live, but I'd definitely be checking those boundary lines, especially since you are paying West. City taxes. If I found that I lived within those boundaries (which I'd bet you DO), I'd go to war. Best of luck to you!

Thanks, Pam. I appreciate your feedback. At least now I know I'm not crazy for questioning it :)
PH February 03, 2014 at 02:31 PM
You are quite welcome, Bev. When I feel there is a wrong being committed, I like to try to helpRead Morefol ks. I would definitely be doing my research into the boundary lines. That information is public knowledge and they have to give it to you. Kill them with politeness, not anger. You'll get further that way! And no, you are NOT crazy, my friend.

Carroll Hospital Center should purchase it and turn it into a Geriatric Care Facility that wouldRead Moreoff er specialized care to fragile senior citizens. The Carroll Hospital Center does not have or offer any sort of special care for the fastest grow percentage of our population and i can not think of ANYTHING that is needed more at this point !

The issue of Carroll Hospital Center currently neglecting to provide a Geriatric Care Unit shouldRead Morebe at the forefront and I can't understand the reason that Patch administrators have refused to research and report about it. I make this tragic existing condition known on a regular basis. Most likely the reason that Patch ignores it is because Carroll Hospital Center pumps advertising dollars into their coffers.
Buck Harmon January 13, 2014 at 09:09 AM
I have made Patch administrators aware of this very poor condition associated with the CarrollRead MoreHospi tal Center but for some reason they have never looked into it to do a story about it...might have something to do with advertising dollars or something. The public should be made aware of these facts.
Buck Harmon January 13, 2014 at 09:10 AM
I'm sure that the Carroll Hospital Center has the budget to hire a very eloquent speakingRead Morespokespers on that could provide a straight forward explanation as to why senior citizens are slighted by the lack of specialized care for these fragile conditions.

Medicare does not pay well enough to attract for-profit facilities. Go to the Carroll HospitalRead Morewebsi te and visit the board of directors page. There you will find helpful photos showing what a death panel looks like.

What I meant, Judy, was that your tone to me when asking me to expound with details was ratherRead Moretesty . What I provided is the Reader's Digest version. There's a lot more to it that I really don't care to divulge publicly. I'm well aware of the fact that something stinks about this whole thing. Also, remember a few years back when some Baltimore City police were caught taking payoffs from certain tow companies if they called that company? That may not be the case in Carroll, but I sure am going to find out. In an accident situation, it's almost always the cop who calls a tow company. That's SOP.

It will be more like very hard work and a lot of time to investigate, but your good wishes areRead Moreappre ciated! This poor excuse of a business is the single most unprofessional one I've ever had the displeasure to deal with. I'm not going to waste my time trying to sue. I've filed complaints with every single entity you mentioned, and then some. I'll be getting my money back as soon as the insurance pays out. I have no standing to sue. I CAN expose this place for what it is and put them OUT of business. The Carroll County grapevine is also working overtime, especially in the auto business, e.g., other tow companies, auto repair shops, body shops, and even dealerships that provide full service car repairs. Then there is the media. They are going to regret messing with this 'lady', as the moron at the lot kept calling me.
