Every year thousands of individuals from across Central Maryland come together with the Y of Central Maryland for a Thanksgiving Day tradition that raises critically needed funds for struggling local families. On Thursday, November 22, the Y of Central Maryland will host its 3rd Annual Hill Family Center Y Turkey Trot.
The Turkey Trot will feature a 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run beginning at Carroll Community College and continuing on streets past local schools and along Route 97 with the finish line at the Hill Family Center Y. Please join the Y along with friends, families, and neighbors in helping to support the Carroll County community by participating. Awards will be presented to the top three males and females overall and the top male and female in each age group.
All proceeds will benefit the Y’s Safe Place for Kids campaign, which provides Y programs and services to those who could otherwise not afford them.

Hill Family Center Y is a community organization with a commitment to nurture kids, promote health and foster social responsibility.
Hill Family Center Y on Sykesville Road south of Westminster has a gymnasium, community meeting space, aerobics studio, ½ mile walking path, child watch and men's and women's locker rooms.
People of all races, ages, faiths, gender, abilities, backgrounds and incomes are welcome.
