The Freedom Area and Westminster Relay For Life will be holding a fun and inspirational combined Kickoff Event on 1/23 at the Westminster High School Second Floor Cafeteria.
Come and enjoy family-oriented activities to Celebrate, Remember and Fight Back against cancer. We will be learning about the Relay event, learning about the mission of the American Cancer Society and enjoying fun activities.
Relay For Life is the key fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Relay For Life is an overnight event where teams walk in relay-fashion to raise funds for the American Cancer Society and it's many services and research endeavors.
During the event, those effected by cancer are remembered in a moving Luminaria ceremony. Games, music, food and fun are enjoyed by all.

Westminster High School, home of the Owls, is one of the largest of the eight high schools located in Carroll County. With approximately 1,800 students, Westminster High School offers a comprehensive curriculum with courses ranging from remedial to advanced placement. Rounding out the academic offerings is a robust selection of extra-curricular activities, including boys and girls sports teams, student government, arts, drama, marching band and a host of clubs.
