The hours of the ma rket are on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Sunday from 10:00 AM t o 5:00 PM. It will feature five live musical entertainment acts that wil l be playing traditional German\, Austrian\, Celtic\, and Appalachian ho liday music\; warm typical market foods such as bratwurst\, currywurst\, Alsatian sauerkraut\, Kartoffelpuffer (potato pancakes)\,  \;Wiener schnitzel\, artisan sweets\, Glü\;hwein (mulled wine)\, local microb rews from Lovettsville&rsquo\;s own Mad Horse Brewpub\; over 20 local ar tists\, crafters\, and vendors\; and there will be free children&rsquo\; s face and hair painting and German Christmas storytelling by the Harmon y Middle School German Language students as well as two German puppet th eatre presentations.\n \;\nThis is a wonderful way to kick off the h oliday season in a unique environment and find those special holiday gif ts. Out of town holiday guests will be treated to typical German Gem&uum l\;tlichkeit for which Lovettsville\, formerly known as the German Settl ement\, is known. Entrance to the market is $3.00 for 13 years and older and free for all others. The fee is good for both days of the market.
