An Outreach Worker from the Hunger-Free Communities Partnership is available to screen individuals for the Food Supplement Program (commonly known as Food Stamps), and provide eligible families and individuals with application assistance and submission. You may drop-in to the Parish Office at St. John's Catholic Church during the listed hours, or call Jennifer at 443-939-6031 to schedule an appointment. She is also available to help those in Taneytown on Thursdays from 9am-Noon at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Jennifer is also available in Frederick County at select times in Brunswick, Emmitsburg, Frederick, and Walkersville.

St. Johns offers mass every day of the week, Sunday School classes and supervised daycare during worship. The church has several active youth programs, such as CYO basketball and Life Teen. St. Johns Portico is directly in front of the church and can be reserved for special events. In addition, the church parking lot has a recycling drop box for paper.
