Rape Crisis Intervention Service (RCIS) is now accepting applications for their upcoming group therapy for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. The weekly group will begin on October 16, 2012 and will be conducted at RCIS, 224 North Center Street, Westminster, MD. There is no fee for group therapy; however, donations of $15.00 per person/group are appreciated. A licensed clinical social worker will facilitate the sessions.
Group therapy at Rape Crisis is designed to be an adjunct to individual counseling. Clients who have previously or are currently participating in individual therapy at RCIS or elsewhere are appropriate candidates for this therapeutic experience.
Please call our office at (410) 857-0900 to register by October 5, 2012. RCIS is a private, non-profit agency providing services and education programs to Carroll County for more than 30 years.

Rape Crisis Intervention Service of Carroll County (RCIS), located in the Carroll County Multi-Service Center just across the street from the main Carroll County office building, is a private, non-profit agency serving Carroll County since 1978. RCIS provides free counseling and support services to victims of sexual violence and their families. It also offers prevention education programs and professional training in order to eliminate sexual violence through education and advocacy.
