Do you have arthritis, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease or another chronic condition?
Sign up today for our FREE self-management workshop
Living Well is a chronic disease self management program (CDSMP) from Stanford University. Workshops meet for two and one-half hours, once a week for 7 weeks. Participants will make weekly action plans, share experiences and help each other solve problems they encounter in creating and implementing their self management program.
Topics covered in the workshop include:
- Medications
- Communicating with your healthcare provider
- Future planning
- Relaxation methods
- Nutrition
- Exercise
- Frustration

More About Westminster Senior Activity Center
The Westminster Senior Activity Center, located on Stoner Avenue near the Carroll Hospital Center, is a program of the Carroll County Bureau of Aging. It offers a wide range of activities for local seniors, including crafts, karaoke, bingo and live entertainment. The SAC also helps seniors find help for medical and legal issues, along with a number of other specialized resources. The schedule is always packed with upcoming events, and is updated regularly on its website.
