DESCRIPTION:Project C Studios will be celebrating the close of their 6th 
 Season with their 2012 Annual Dance Concert\, "Redefining Classic"\, on 
 Friday\, June 22\, 2012 at 7pm at the Scott Center for the Performing Ar
 ts at Carroll Community College. The performance will be a mix of profes
 sionally choreographed work and professional- track student choreographi
 es&nbsp\;in contemporary styles of Ballet\, Modern\, Jazz\, Tap\, Hip Ho
 p and structured Improvisation. The evening will also include performanc
 es by the Project C&rsquo\;s exclusive Hip Hop Company\, the New Akademy
  Crew\, and Project C's Student Contemporary Dance Company\, Catalyst Da
 nce Theatre. Additionally\, the professional dance company DEVIATED THEA
 TRE (www.deviatedtheatre.org/)\, which was voted Washington D.C.'s Best 
 Professional Dance Company for 2012\, will be joining Project C on stage
 \, performing their piece "Out of Phase" from their most recent work "si
 GHt" which was commissioned by the John F. Kennedy Center.&nbsp\;\nIt wi
