The Old Line Statesmen Barbershop Chorus will celebrate 30 years of harmony at the annual show Sunday, June 24th, 2012. The show will feature chorus members as the Hoboes of Harmony performing songs about the towns, states and places they love and feel make the country great.
Special guests for the show will be Coram Deo, a men’s singing group from Bethel Korean Presbyterian Church in Ellicott City, MD. They have entertained audiences for over ten years and have performed at several ‘With One Voice’ events in Westminster and consistently entertain and charm the audience.
Show highlights will include several Carroll County Chapter quartets and a variety of songs including King of the Road, Take Me Home Country Roads, I’ll Follow the Sun and Service Five, a medley of armed forces songs to honor men and women who served our country in uniform.
Tickets are available at the Carroll County Arts Council, Coffey Music, Stu’s Music or from chorus members. In addition, tickets will be available at the door or can be ordered online at the chorus’ website using your credit card via PayPal. More About Carroll Community College
Carroll Community College was established as its own entity in 1993. The college has grown tremendously in the past five years and serves a diverse student body through campus-based classes as well as online classes. Associate degrees are offered in a variety of majors, some of the most popular being General Studies, Arts and Sciences, Business Administration, Teacher Education and Nursing.
In 2009, 399 Associates degrees were awarded. All classrooms are "smart classrooms" and computer labs can be found in locations around campus.
