NWS Issues Winter Storm Watch for Carroll County Tuesday

Keep the shovels handy, there will likely be more digging to do Tuesday.

Forecasters say we will see the sun again Wednesday, but not without another round of snow expected to come early Tuesday.

Much of Maryland is under a winter storm watch Tuesday, Dec. 10 from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m.

NWS reports there is a slight chance of rain and snow tonight before 2 a.m., then snow likely after 5 a.m. Tuesday there is a 100 percent chance of snow, mainly before 1 p.m. Forecasters are expecting three to five inches of snow accumulation. 

Wednesday is expected to be cold, with a high around 33 degrees, but sunny.
