How we Love Our Pets
Help us to help the animal population of Carroll County. All proceeds from the calendar contest go to help animals in need in Carroll County. Check the Humane Society's Webpage often if you are missing a furry family member.
A local group the Animal Advocates of Carroll County is holding an art contest for a Calendar. This contest is open to all school age children. Here are the details.

The Animal Advocates of Carroll County, Inc. ( a non-profit) invites you to enter our 2014 Pet Calendar Contest. Proceeds from sales will help our pets in Carroll County. See our website: animaladvocatesofcarroll.org and/or like us on Facebook.
Theme: “How We Love Our Pets”

example: Take your pet to the vet, Pet with favorite toy
Love and respect your pet. Walk your dog.
Size: 8 ½” X 11 “
Medium: crayon, watercolor, tempera paint, acrylic, colored
pencils. ( No chalk or oil pastels please)
Judging will be based on the following:
1. Visual description of the chosen theme through the use
of color, ( fill the space) line, shape, visual texture.
2. Creative: artwork can be realistic, Impressionistic, etc.
3. Neatness
Artwork is due Friday, October 4th to the school office. Volunteers will pick up the work and it will be judged by Monday, October 7th .Original artwork will be returned.
