15th Annual Taste of Carroll to be Held May 5; Tickets Now On Sale
Carroll Hospice, the nonprofit serving Carroll, Frederick and Baltimore counties, has announced that tickets are now on sale for its premiere fundraising event, Taste of Carroll, to take place on Monday, May 5, 2014. The 15th annual celebration will once again feature light fare and wine tastings from more than 30 of the region’s restaurants and wineries, a special VIP reception, as well as a live and silent auction with more than 100 items available for bid. Gerstell Academy in Finksburg, Md. is generously hosting the event for the fourth consecutive year.

The restaurants and wineries that will be offering food and beverage samplings at this year’s event will include: Artisan Wine Company, Baldwin’s Station, Barrett’s Grill/Glyndon Grill, Basignani Winery, Baugher’s Restaurant, Blue Bistro and Catering, Boordy Vineyards, Brightview Westminster Ridge, Buffalo Wild Wings, Carroll Hospital Center, Carroll Lutheran Village, Casa Rica, Cinful Cuisine, County Cork Wine Pub, Cygnus Wine Cellars, Elk Run Vineyard, Galloping Goose Vineyards, The Greene Turtle – Westminster, Gypsy’s Tearoom & CUP Tea, Just Desserts by Linda, Le Regazze Italian Bistro, Liberatore’s Westminster, Linganore Winecellars, Maggie’s Restaurant, Oscar’s Alehouse, Paradiso Ristorante, Piney Branch Golf Club, Rafael’s Restaurant, Rita’s Italian Ice (Westminster), Salsarita’s, Stables Restaurant, Starry Night Bakery & Coffee House, Sweet Frog, and Woodhall Wine Cellars.
Tickets for the Taste of Carroll general tasting are $75 each; tickets for the VIP reception, beginning at 5pm, and general tasting are $150 each. Tickets can be purchased online at www.CarrollHospice.org/taste-of-carroll or by calling the Hospice Development office at 410-871-7220.

Over the past 15 years, Taste of Carroll has raised more than $1 million dollars for Carroll Hospice. The proceeds help support inpatient and outpatient hospice care services as well as a full scope of bereavement programs provided to family members and the community at large.
