Carroll Lutheran Village Holds Veterans Day Celebration

Chaplain Colonel Jeffry Dull, USAF Retired, provided the keynote address at the annual Veteran’s Day Celebration at Carroll Lutheran Village on November 11.

Chaplain Colonel Dull, a 30-year military chaplain, talked about the challenges facing today’s troops as they return from active service.  He noted that troops are returning with a high prevalence of lost limbs, post-traumatic stress disorder and head injuries that can be challenging to both the veteran and his/her family.

He also acknowledged that today’s troops are well-treated and welcomed home by the public compared to the past.
