Rape Crisis Intervention Service of Carroll County announces "Girl Group Talk".

Rape Crisis Intervention Service of Carroll County (RCIS) will be holding free and confidential group therapy sessions for female teens ages 14-19 who have experienced trauma such as sexual assault, sexual abuse, abusive relationships, domestic violence and self-harm.  The weekly group will begin on June 25, 2014, and will be conducted at RCIS, 224 North Center Street, Westminster, MD from 5:30pm-6:30pm.  Some of the topics that will be covered are; Safety, Healthy Coping Skills, Stress Management, Anger, Finding Self-respect, Social Skills, Communications and PTSD.  A licensed therapist will facilitate the sessions.
