Bargain Hunting: Deals in Westminster and Beyond this Weekend

See what bargains you can find at the following yard sales, auctions, estate sales, Craigslist sales and flea markets, in Westminster and around Carroll County this weekend. (April 5-7)

 Estate Sale – “Wonderland in Westminster” (Westminster)

  • When:  Friday, April 5 – Sunday, April 7, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Description:  Owners of this home moved out of the country and everything must go.  This sale will go on until all items are sold.  Everything in the 5,000 sq. ft. house, screened in porch, detached garage, full shed, pool house and 2 storage units must be sold.  Items include: collectibles, artwork, furniture, clothing, pool table, jewelry and much more.

Spring Indoor Flea Market (Westminster)

  • Where:  Shipley Arena, 706 Agriculture Center Dr., Westminster
  • When: Saturday, April 6, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Description:  First big flea market of the spring. Over 200 vendors, food, yard sale items, crafts, books, jewelry, decor and more.

Multi-Family Yard Sale (Eldersburg)

  • When:  Saturday, April 6, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Description:  Many items including train table, kids battery operated Hummer, kids scooter, karate equipment, bikes, kids clothes, electronics, household goods and more.

Indoor Tag/Estate Sale (Eldersburg)

  • Where:  Oak Hill Drive.  Liberty Road to Locust Lane to Oak Hill Drive
  • When: Saturday, April 6, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m., Sunday, April 7, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Description:  Entire house full of items for sale.  Items include rugs, dining room set, chairs, sofa, kitchen items, linens, art supplies, clothing, marble topped tables, and more. To see pictures of items for sale click here.

Viva La Vintage Garage Sale (Sykesville)

  • Where: 7541 Main Street, Sykesville
  • When: Saturday, April 6, 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Description:  Attic clean-out sale.  Home décor, chandeliers, bedding, dishes, furniture, vintage items, baskets, holiday decorations, pictures, yard art and more. 

Rockville High School Mulch Sale (Rockville)

  • Where:  2100 Baltimore Rd, Rockville
  • When:  Saturday, April 6, 8 a.m.
  • Description:  Rockville HS Booster Club Mulch Sale. Proceeds benefit RHS Athletics, Music Programs and Journalism Academy.  Delivery and spreading services also available.
  • Cost: $10

Germantown Community Flea Market  (Germantown)

  • Where:  Germantown Rd & Bowman Mill Dr, Germantown
  • When:  Saturday, April 6, 8 a.m.
  • Description:  More than 100 vendors with everything from household goods to jewelry and electronics. Sponsored by the Germantown. Historical Society, The Menare Foundation and Boy Scout Troop 1325.

Flower Avenue Outdoor Market  (Silver Spring)

  • Where:  8809 Flower Ave, Silver Spring
  • When:  Saturday, April 6, 9 a.m.
  • Description:  Flower Avenue Holiday Market returns as the Flower Avenue Market on April 7.  Every Saturday through the end of the year and may add Sundays soon. You can find more info at www.floweravenuemarket.com.

Glyndon Flea and Farmers Market  (Glyndon)

  • Where:  Glyndon Volunteer Fire Department, 4812 Butler Rd, Glyndon
  • When:  Saturday, April 6, 8 a.m.
  • Description:  The Glyndon Flea and Farmers Market will start its second season on Saturday April 6th, 2013.  This event will be held monthly on the first Saturday of each month until November.  New vendors are always welcome as well as people just wanting to have a yard sale.  Food will be provided by the Glyndon Volunteer Fire Department.
