Bargain Hunting: Good Deals in and Around Westminster this Weekend

While you're out for the Westminster Fallfest, check out the following sales in and around Westminster this weekend. (Sept. 23 – Sept. 25).

Hampstead: 1800 Boog Road Annual Yard Sale: According to the ad in the Carroll County Times, this multi-family yard sale will feature housewares, furniture, clothing, books, toys and collectibles. Friday, Sept. 23 and Saturday, Sept. 24, 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Mount Airy Lions Club Yard Sale / Flea Market: This bi-annual flea market/yard sale is held at the Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Company Carnival Grounds at Rt 27 and Twin Arch Rd. According to the Mt. Airy Lion’s Club website the event will run Saturday, Sept. 24 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. rain or shine.

Crossroads Community Church Flea Market: According to the Craigslist ad items available include tools, appliances, estate jewelry, baby clothes, art and more. Snacks and drinks will be available. Crossroads Community Church is located at 895 Leidy Rd. The flea Market is Saturday Sept. 24 from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Machinery & Consignment Fall Sale: According to the auction listing the auction will include any and all farm equipment including tractors, cards, trucks and motorcycles. Also included will be landscaping equipment and hunting and fishing supplies. The auction will be held at the Westminster Livestock Auction at 1117 Old New Windsor Pike, Saturday, Sept. 24 at 9 a.m.

Bevco Auction: The ad describes this auction as providing a variety of antiques and collectibles from various estates and consignors. Items listed include glassware, collectibles, furniture, tools and much more. Large items listed include a pair of twin size art deco beds, marble top stands, a 1940’s Porcelain top kitchen table and more. The auction will be held at the VFW Hall, 519 Poole Rd. in Westminster. Items may be previewed Friday, Sept. 23 during set-up from noon until 5 p.m. or beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24. Auction begins Saturday, Sept. 24 at 9 a.m.
