Bargain Hunting: Good Deals in Westminster this Weekend

Before you head to the 28th Annual Maryland Wine Festival be sure to check out the following sales in Westminster this weekend.

  • Big Yard Sale: 1154 Old Westminster Road: Lots of deals for ladies including handbags, jewelry, and clothing and collectible art and Longaberger baskets.   Men may enjoy checking out furniture, tools and a Maryland inspected Ford Focus. Saturday, Sept. 17 beginning at 8 a.m.
  • Deer Park and Talbert Rd Yard sale: According to the detailed craigslist post sale items will include a variety of furniture, electronics, tools, clothing, kitchen ware, collectible dolls, baby items and crafts.  The ad states that there are over 1,000 items, all priced to go.
  • : Hosted by the “Soulo Journey Single Moms” group,  this sale includes children’s clothing, baby items and furniture for all ages and stages. Saturday, Sept. 17 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Freedom Optimist Hall next to Pizza Hut in Eldersburg (6228 Sykesville Rd.).
  • Community Yard sale – Brynwoods Hills: Saturday, Sept. 17 beginning at 8 a.m., many homes will participate in this community yard sale event off Barthalow Road at Hilton Head Way in Eldersburg.
