Bargain Hunting: Good Deals in Westminster this Weekend
Before you head to the 28th Annual Maryland Wine Festival be sure to check out the following sales in Westminster this weekend.
- : Hosted by the Y of Central Maryland, all proceeds of this event will go to the Y’s Safe Place for Kids Campaign. Saturday, Sept. 17 from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Y of Central Maryland, 1719 Sykesville Rd. in Westminster.
- Big Yard Sale: 1154 Old Westminster Road: Lots of deals for ladies including handbags, jewelry, and clothing and collectible art and Longaberger baskets. Men may enjoy checking out furniture, tools and a Maryland inspected Ford Focus. Saturday, Sept. 17 beginning at 8 a.m.
- Deer Park and Talbert Rd Yard sale: According to the detailed craigslist post sale items will include a variety of furniture, electronics, tools, clothing, kitchen ware, collectible dolls, baby items and crafts. The ad states that there are over 1,000 items, all priced to go.
- SERRV Marketplace Sale, 500 Main St., New Windsor: Listed on the Carroll County Tourism calendar of upcoming events this marketplace sale is said to include slightly imperfect handmade crafts from 35 countries.
- : Hosted by the “Soulo Journey Single Moms” group, this sale includes children’s clothing, baby items and furniture for all ages and stages. Saturday, Sept. 17 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Freedom Optimist Hall next to Pizza Hut in Eldersburg (6228 Sykesville Rd.).
- 3908 Shiloh Ave, Hampstead multi-family yard sale: According to the post on yardsalesearch.com this sale is being held to raise money for a Orphan Hosting Program. This sale is being held both Friday, Sept. 16 and Saturday, Sept. 17.
- 1683 Green Mill Rd, Finksburg Yard sale: Selling furniture, clothing and more, the ad promises to have something for everyone on Saturday, Sept. 17 from 8 a.m. until noon.
- Community Yard sale – Brynwoods Hills: Saturday, Sept. 17 beginning at 8 a.m., many homes will participate in this community yard sale event off Barthalow Road at Hilton Head Way in Eldersburg.
