Carroll County Farm Museum Offers Free Admission to Active Military Personnel

Active military personnel and their families will be able to tour the Farm Museum for free from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

The Carroll County Farm Museum is one of 1,800 museums across America to offer free admission to all active military personnel and their families this summer in collaboration with the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, and the Department of Defense.

This partnership will begin on Memorial Day, May 27 and run through Labor Day, Sept. 2, according to a news release. The 140-acre Carroll County Farm Museum opens to visitors weekends May through October from Noon until 5 p.m.

In July and August the Museum is open Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Guided tours are given through the 19th century farmhouse and the 18th century Hoff Barn.
