PetConnect Rescue Dog Adoption Event

  • Description:  PetConnect Rescue is having a dog adoption event at Country Kennel of Mt. Airy, MD.  Volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about any dog or the adoption process.

39th Annual Mistletoe Mart

  • Where:  23 N Court St, Westminster
  • When:  Friday, Nov. 9 and Saturday, Nov. 10, 10 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
  • Description:  3 day juried artisan and craft event featuring pottery, handcrafted jewelry, wood crafts & toys, stained and fused glass, textiles, baskets, puppets, pet items and more.
  • Cost: $6

 

Holiday Open House

  • Where:  Gypsy's Tearoom & Inspirations Gift Shop, 111 Stoner Ave, Westminster
  • When:  Friday, Nov. 9, 10 a.m.
  • Description:  Afternoon tea, sampling, shopping, door prizes and more.
  • Cost: Free

 

Taking the War Out of Our Words

  • Where:  Carroll Community College, 1601 Washington Rd, Westminster
  • When: Saturday, Nov. 10, 8 a.m.
  • Description:  Workshop that presents and demonstrates communicating in a completely non-defensive based way, communicative disarmament.
  • Cost: $25
