Winter Weather Advisory in Westminster Through this Evening

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Carroll County through 7 p.m.

After surviving three snow events in a week, you're probably not even phased by a Winter Weather Advisory at this point. That said, the National Weather Service warns that a brief burst of winter weather could cause tough driving conditions through this evening, so plan ahead.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Carroll, Northern Baltimore and Harford Counties until 7 p.m.

NWS says to expect a mix of freezing rain, snow and sleet late this afternoon into evening. No snow accumulation is expected but forecasters said a light icing is possible from freezing rain. Temperatures will remain in the upper 20s to low 30s.

Roads will become slick where icing occurs. Be prepared for slippery roads, especially into the evening hours.
