Winter Weather: Tuesday Closings and Delays in Carroll County
Forecasters say the sun will return tomorrow.
A second winter storm in three days is dropping more snow on Maryland. The following local organizations have delayed opening or have closed due to inclement weather Tuesday, Dec. 10.
- Carroll County government is closed
- Carroll County Public Schools are closed and central offices, which were originally to open at 10 a.m., are closed
- The Christmas tree lighting at the Carroll County Office Building has been postponed until Dec. 17
- Carroll Community College and the Mount Airy College Center will open at 2 p.m.
- Carroll County Circuit and Juvenile Courts are closed
- Shepherd's Staff is closed
- Carroll Area Transit System (CATS) is closed
- Carroll County Senior Centers are closed
- Westminster City Government offices are closed. Trash service will be delayed by one day for the rest of the week.
