Arts Council Peep Show Enjoys Sweet Success

A record number of people attended this year's Peep Show at the Carroll Arts Council.

More than 20,000 Peeps were used to create 196 imaginative entries in the 5th Annual that recently closed at the .  An estimated 14,000 visitors attended the free event and voted for their favorite PEEP sculptures, dioramas, mosaics and movies. 

The audience voted for their favorites as follows:

The Grand Prize, with 1473 Votes was “Peepin’ Through Carroll County” by The Mondor Family

1st Prize, with 1358 votes was “I Also Speak for the Peeps” by Christian Twamley

2nd Place with 1334 votes is “Very Angry Birds” by Papa Joe’s Restaurant

3rd Place with 1083 votes is “Peep Panther” by Sydney Blacksten

4th Place with 1,067 votes is “Peepafe” by Alannah Van Horn

5th Place with 993 Votes “I Speak for the Peeps” by Carroll Springs School

6th Place with 865 Votes is “Imagine” by Nan Nelson & Friends

7th Plac e with 820 votes is “Peeposauras” by the Lazelle Family

The Favorite Film was “Peep Saves the Bay” by Carroll Outdoor School
